Samreen Jamil is from Swat, Pakistan. She migrated to the US when she was 3 years old--about 14 years ago. In 2001, the year Samreen was born, the Taliban regime shadowed over the Swat Valley. In her story, she reflects on the differences between her life in America and those still there.
