Sami Assadi, co founder Safed House and Palestinian refugee, and Haseeba Baseer, member of the Safed House Sharing Circle and Afghan refugee, were part of a panel on World Refugee Day June 2018. They spoke about their refugee journey to America, responded to a documentary "This Is Home" on resettlement in America, and compared their own experience to that of the refugees in the documentary. Other panel participants included an Iraqi and Bhutanese refugee. The panel was moderated by Stanford Prescott, International Rescue Committee in Phoenix.
