In November 2018 we conducted Part 1 of the 2018 writing workshop to help participants (refugees from Syria, Myanmar, Nepal and Burundi) fine tune their writing skills in anticipation of a writing a college application essay. By answering relevant prompts, each participant had the chance to start a draft of a college entrance essay. The workshop was led by Hannah Lillith Assadi, Ivy League award winning published author.
